Econyl & emissions
Switching to ECONYL® from virgin nylon drastically cuts down carbon emissions. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
- Virgin nylon: 8.78 kg CO2/kg
- ECONYL® regenerated nylon: 1.81 kg CO2/kg
Our Reduction:
- For P6 mat production, we’ve cut emissions from 131,700 kg CO2 to 27,150 kg CO2, saving 104,550 kg CO2.
- For P11 mat production, emissions have dropped from 5,224,100 kg CO2 to 1,076,950 kg CO2, saving 4,147,150 kg CO2.
Total Emission Reduction:
We have saved over 4,251,700 kg CO2 in total by switching to ECONYL®!
