Many customers are choosing to eliminate drying as part of their normal mat processing. Although there are benefits to not drying, such as reducing costs, reduced handling and labor expenses, as well as freeing up needed dryer capacity, there are also disadvantages. Some of these are that mats may go out wet, sand and grit may be left in the mats that are not dryed, and mats that remain damp can develop odors.

For best results, M+A recommends a short drying cycle (please see the mat's recommended laundering instructions for exact drying and cool down times).

To help lower dry times, try utilizing a split extraction to help remove pockets of water that develop in the mats during the first extraction.
