About M + A Matting Europe

The late Emmett Hart set up M + A Matting in 1963 in a little building not far from LaGrange, Georgia. Hart worked at Callaway Mills for a very long time in design and development division before beginning his own company at the motivation of his better half, Nancy. Emmett and Nancy were among the initial seven representatives of M + A Matting. Today, the family-owned business keeps up more than 75.000 m² in manufacturing plants and has more than 1100 employees in LaGrange, GA, Dalton, GA and Ronse/Fleurus, Belgium. M + A Matting is one of the world leaders in production of floor mats in the world. Since 1963, M + A Matting has delivered the best, most innovative mats available. From the very beginning we have focused on customer service, fast deliveries and quality. In 1979, David Hart joined his dad in the business and worked together with Emmet until his passing in 2000. As of now, an executive team lead by his kids was prepared to push the organization ahead. Increased sales show the interest for the companies products. M + A Matting extended, for the first time, by merging with The Andersen Company in Dalton, Georgia in 1999. In 2005, M + A Matting extended its operations to Ronse, Belgium, where it keeps up a 6000 m² manufacturing site and offices to provide the European market with matting solutions. In 2008, M + A Matting acquired the North American business of Kleen-Tex Industries, Inc. The following additions to the M + A Matting family include the LaGrange-based mat manufacturing business, M + A Matting Rubber Company, and M + A Matting Canada, situated in Mississauga, Ontario. The most recent divisions are the Purple Mustard and Bartex acquisitions in 2019, expanding our promotional business in Europe.
